事关疫情期间学费、宿舍费处理通知/ School Fee Hostel Fee during the MCO Matter

新冠状肺炎疫情蔓延，国家行动管制令延长，许多家庭财务受影响，故学校与董事会协商后特作以下安排。

1.      4月份学费照例缴交

基于本校隶属非盈利机构，经济来源主要仰赖学费收入及公众人士之捐款才得以维持运作。行动管制期间，学校遵照政府法令，照常支付全体教职员薪金。另，停课期间，为达致停课不停学目标，学校启动moodle教学平台，教师继续在家备课提供网上课件，继续协助学生自主学习。

2.      宿舍费先照例全额缴交

宿舍费请先照例全额缴交。至于洗衣费的部分，因洗衣费是与外面厂家签署合同，为期一年(1月-10月），若厂家愿意取消，开学后将连同伙食费退回给宿舍生。

3.      宽限缴交或欢迎使用银行转账系统缴交学费

i)        有关学费将以宽限处理，学生可在行动管制令结束返校一周内缴交学费，无法在返校一周内缴交的同学，可到财务处申办“逾期缴交学费申请”。

ii)      鼓励家长使用银行转账系统缴交学费。

Due to the spread of the coronary virus COVID-19 epidemic and the extension of the national Movement Control Order(MOC), the financial impact is affecting many families, so the school made the following arrangements after consultation with the CHHS Board of Directors.

1. School fees are paid as usual in April

CHHS is under a non-profit organization, the economic source mainly depends on school fee income and donations from the public to maintain operation. During the MCO, the school complies with government regulations and pays the salaries of all the teachers and staffs as usual. In addition, during the suspension period of MCO, the school launched the Moodle teaching platform, teachers continued to provide online course and homework at home to continue to assist students to learn independently.

2. The dormitory fee shall be paid in full as usual

The dormitory fee should be paid in full as usual. As for the Laundry service fee, due to the Laundry service is signed with the external manufacturer for one year (January-October, 2020). If the manufacturer is willing to cancel, the school will return the Laundry service fee and Meal fee to the dormitory student after MCO ends.

3. Late payment or use bank online transfer system to pay school fee

i) Students can pay school fees within one week of returning to school at the end of the action control order. Students who cannot pay within one week after returning to school can apply for an “Overdue School Fee Payment Application” at the Finance Department.

ii) Parents are encouraged to use the online bank transfer system to pay school fees.
